Last Saturday, the Pistons hosted the Chicago Bulls at Little Caesars Arena for the 2023-24 home opener. Not only did the Pistons celebrate a great win, the fans got their first taste of the ‘Always Detroit Basketball’ campaign featured during the pregame on the Little Caesar's Arena jumbotron, as the Pistons were eager to publicly demonstrate the commitment to writing a chapter, bringing together the team and its fanbase.
This was a dream of mine to have an opportunity like this.
I grew up in Michigan witnessing all three NBA championships from the 1989 team, the 1990 and the 2004. My dad and I used to go to Pistons games all the time when I was a kid until I was older. When I got serious in producing, I made a bucket list goal to create music for one of my hometown sports team. My favorite teams were the Wolverines, the Pistons and the Lions. For a beat that started as a skeleton idea to end up the soundtrack and theme of the new chapter of the Detroit Pistons is a true honor!
Wish my dad could have gone to a Pistons game with me today.
Cheers!
