It's been 11 years now since my Dad passed and I miss him. Today I wondered how he would have reacted to his son becoming a father this year? I wondered what jokes and advice he would've shared...what words he would have used, but what I do know is the main meaning would have been rooted in love.
Love was the greatest gift my father and my mother gave me. Through them, I learned about God, what Love truly was and I am grateful. Now, when I look at this photo, it reminds me of where my place in this story of Love began.
