14KT x Tall Blk Guy  "Chop Field"

 

I decided to travel to Europe, UK, and a few other places for a birthday vacation. TBG used to live in England and while I was traveling through the UK, I wanted to take a train to link up with him. We connected and built on life and music for a couple days. We walked around Norwich, England just collecting sounds from the environment.

Conversations we were having..

While we were walking, we overheard a Brazilian jazz song playing at a restaurant. We both liked it, so I recorded it on my HandyCam right in the restaurant. We later figured out what song it was. Chaka (Tall Blk Guy's manager at the time) gave us the challenge of making a beat in a few hours with all the sounds we collected throughout the day. This is what we came up with that day. This was our first collaboration together. I was glad to finally connect with one of my favorite guys and beat makers in this game.
